I am Nikki Harper, LMSW, a Licensed Master Social Worker, supervised by Jennifer Vasquez, LCSW, providing compassionate, client-centered therapy to individuals across Texas through remote practice. Born and raised in San Jose, California, I moved to Austin as a teenager and quickly built strong, meaningful connections within the Central Texas community.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos and later completed my Master of Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University. I bring valuable experience from community mental health, where I supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and major life transitions.
As a divorcee and mother, I have a deep passion for women's mental health. I am especially committed to supporting adults as they navigate the emotional complexities of spousal relationships, healing after separation, and the challenges that often accompany parenthood.
I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, empowerment-based approaches, and motivational interviewing. My therapeutic style is warm, inviting, and grounded in empathy. I believe in creating a safe and comfortable space where clients can show up exactly as they are.
My goal is to walk alongside each client on their journey toward mental wellness offering support, perspective, and practical tools to help them move through difficult moments with confidence and resilience. I am committed to helping clients feel seen, heard, and empowered as they explore their strengths, process life’s challenges, and cultivate lasting emotional well-being.
